Poster Submission Guidelines

• A congress account is necessary in order to submit abstracts. The abstract submitter needs to create an account or use an existing congress account and register online first.
• Abstracts may only be submitted through the official online submission system.
• Payment of the congress registration fee is required by 14 January 2027 for authors of submitted abstracts. Unpaid registration fees will result in the removal of accepted abstracts from the scientific programme. If your abstract is not accepted, the registration fee will be fully refunded in case the abstract submitter decides to not attend the congress.
• It is possible to submit up to five abstracts. All abstract submitters/original authors have to be present on-site to present their abstract during the Guided Poster Tour (if the abstract is accepted). 
• Presenter changes are not permitted. The Congress and Exhibition Office reserves the right to charge a separate handling fee for presenter changes.
• Abstract submitters will be notified regarding acceptance/rejection by end of February 2027. We kindly ask all abstract submitters to refrain from sending E-mail requests prior to the end of February 2027.
• The first author must accept full responsibility for the content, submission and presentation of the abstract, and retain full copyright of the abstract and presentation. By submitting an abstract, the author agrees and authorizes the organisers to publish or to submit the abstract for publication.
• All abstracts must be written in English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. Submitted abstracts will in general not be edited in any way. 
• All submitted abstracts must be original research. Abstracts that have been presented at other meetings may be submitted if they have not been published, and if the name of the event and date are correctly stated.
• All accepted abstracts will be considered for Guided Poster Tours during designated times of the congress.
• Abstracts selected for presentation during the Early Career Scientist Symposia have to be presented by the abstract submitter/original author(s). Please do not submit an abstract if you are not able to present your research on-site.
• The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before online submission.

• Abstract Title: Maximum 250 characters, including spaces
• Presenting Author: The submitting author is automatically designated as the presenting author and must provide: First name, Last name, Institution/Organization, City, Country, Email address, Co-Authors (up to 20 co-authors may be listed)
• Authors must select: one primary topic (secondary topic is optional)

The abstract must be structured using the following headings:

• Objective (Clearly state the purpose of the study or project.)
• Methods (Describe study design, participants, interventions, assessments, and statistical methods where applicable.)
• Results (Summarize the main findings.)
• Conclusions (Present the key conclusions and implications for research, clinical practice, policy, or education.)

Word Limits:

• maximum 1.000 characters per section
• maximum 4.000 characters in total

Please note the following requirements:

• Use sentence case for titles and author names.
• Do not enter names entirely in uppercase or lowercase letters.
• Figures, tables, images, and graphics are not permitted in submitted abstracts.
• Special characters should be entered correctly and reviewed carefully prior to submission.
• Statistical expressions should include spaces around mathematical symbols (e.g., p < 0.05).
• The submitting author is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided.
• Authors are encouraged to use their institutional email address whenever possible.
